Project Input
Help the project team understand your safety concerns along East Capitol Street.
The project team is facilitating a public process to gather comments and concerns of citizens
who live, work and play in the study area. The project team is interested in feedback on locations
where pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists have conflicts or feel unsafe and where both crashes
and “near miss” crashes have occurred.
We have multiple ways for you to participate – attend a public meeting or
fill out the comment form. We will host an initial public meeting to present
some existing data and field observations and to gather safety and operational concerns from the public
and stakeholders. There will be several subsequent meetings with the public and agencies through the
course of the project. Please see the Schedule & Resources page for additional details.

Please use the comment form to provide input on your concerns
regarding safety, accessibility and mobility for walkers, bicyclists, motorists and transit
users along the study corridor. We are looking for information about intersections,
a specific crossing or a walking / biking route that you feel are uncomfortable and areas
where you think improvements are needed.
